FBC Lancaster Student ministry exists to impact the lives 6-12 grade students through students embracing the Gospel, engaging in community and equipping them to live as maturing followers of Jesus Christ who impact the world.
Relationships – We desire to see students build friendships with other students. We provide several opportunities (dodgeball, movie nights, bon-fires, etc.) to encourage students to hang out with one another outside of LIFE Groups, worship services and events to foster stronger friendships. We participate in conferences, concerts, sports, camps, etc. to grow in our relationship with God and each other. We engage in mission opportunities locally and globally.
Teaching – LIFE Groups meet on Sunday mornings from 9:00-10:15 AM for both middle school and high school students. Caring teachers who genuinely desire to invest in the students help them better understand and embrace God’s Word. We engage in fun activities or games then dive into the Bible through teaching and discussion. Students often sit together in the 10:30 AM worship service.
Service – Each month we have a “First Sunday” serving opportunity. Students eat lunch together then serve together in the community (Rake-N-Run, Visiting nursing homes, assisting widows or the elderly, etc.). This provides students with the opportunity to be a light in the community and make an impact for Christ. This generally ends around 2:00 p.m.
We would love to meet you and invite you to participate. Please, contact Pastor Chris for more information or if you have questions.
