Sophie became the Children’s Ministry Assistant in April, 2023. She is the 3rd born child out of 6 kids, to parents Jerry and Kari Johnson, and she loves her family very much. She was raised in a Christian home, with her parents teaching her about Jesus and taking her and her siblings to church. When she was 9 years old, Sophie surrendered her life to Jesus and is now continuing to grow in her walk with Him.

Sophie loves to write stories, her favorite genre being medieval fantasy, and she’s already written and illustrated several books. She hopes to become an author, but at the end of the day, she enjoys writing her stories for her family and friends. Sophie also loves chaperoning on youth mission and camp trips, and Super Summer, which is held at Cedarville University, has become a major highlight of her year.
